NUTTY GRAIN FREE PORRIDGE

If you are looking for a grain free approach to breakfast, that doesn't include eggs, this is your recipe. It is tummy warming, filling and super easy to make. Adapted from Against All Grain by Danielle Walker. This is a wonderful nutrient rich take on cream of wheat.

Ingredients
  • 2 Cup assorted raw nuts soaked overnight, drained of all water
  • 1 Cup coconut milk full fat
  • 1 Medium banana ripe
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Passive Time 12 hours

Instructions
  1. Pulse all ingredients in a food processor until a smooth mixture is formed. (make sure you have soaked your nuts overnight to soften them so that they blend easily.)
  2. Transfer mixture to the stove in a pot and heat on medium for about 7-10 minutes, stirring as you go.
  3. Once mixture is heated, add in any other fresh topping you may like such as apples, berries or dried unsulfured fruit.
