We are always being asked about our favorite snacks, and this simple snack ranks up high. Inspired from the kid favorite "ant's on a log", we made this version with a crisp and sour green apple. Feel free to get creative with this one. A great mid-afternoon pick me up, or pre-workout fuel up. It also happens to be very kid approved!

Ingredients
- 1 large apple green
- 2 tbsp almond butter or natural nut butter, any brand of your choice
- 1 tsp raisins
- 1 Tbsp rolled oats optional add in

Instructions
- Core and slice apple width wise into thin, sandwich like slices.
- Spread a thin layer of nut butter on an apple slice, add in some raisins and oats, then place another apple slice on top creating a mini sandwich.
