Sprouted, or "live-grain" bread is much less processed than commercial bread, is high in fiber and protein, and contains nutrients that “regular” bread lacks - making our version of French Toast a nutrient-packed alternative for Saturday morning breakfasts! This would also taste tremendous with a very good fermented sourdough bread as well.

Ingredients
- 4 Slices ezekiel live grain bread or other sprouted bread
- 2 Whole eggs
- 2 Tbsp almond milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- natural nut butter optional, to taste
- mixed berries optional, to taste
- pure maple syrup optional, to taste

Instructions
- Warm a greased pan over medium heat. While the pan is heating up, crack eggs into a shallow dish, large enough to dip bread into. Add almond milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla and whisk well.
- Coat bread by dipping each side into egg mixture. Once coated, cook each slice until each side is golden in the heated pan. Should take about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Top toast with almond butter and berries, and a tablespoon or so of pure maple syrup, if desired.
