This is one of Rachele's FAVORITE crockpot dishes. It is so full of flavor and simple to make. This ropa vieja pairs wonderful with some spicy slaw or cilantro lime cauli rice. This shredded meat is easy to make, yet tastes gourmet AND its rich in flavor, all while staying packed full of fresh veggies and spices.
Summer may mean more crisp salads and salsa-y fish tacos, but that doesn’t mean we don’t want something extra indulgent tasting in between acai bowls and plates of garden fresh Caprese. What to do when that moment strikes? Ladies and gentlemen, may we introduce VFit Squad Chili Fries. And although they sure don’t taste the part, these are So. Nutrient. Dense. Like, you can’t tell your sig other or children, because they’ll think you’re lying.
This stroganoff has a nice healthy spin! We have it creamy using sour cream and kefir, and instead of classic noodles, we have it with nutrient rich "noodles" - what more do we need to say? We use "zoodles" in this recipe, but feel free to use spaghetti squash or any noodles your prefer - or try using mashed cauli. If you end up with extra sauce, you can freeze or whip up more zoodles to soak the goodness up. London broil is a less expensive piece of meat which cooks up well when cooked in recipes like this. Feel free to use any steak cut you prefer.
Ditch your store bought barbecue sauce usually full of sugar and hight fructose corn syrup and try this amazing and simple crock-pot chicken. It may seem like a lot of ingredients, but once you have your pantry stocked, they will last a long time. Full of sweet, smokey and tangy flavor, this is a great combo. If you prefer to use our Fingerlicking Good BBQ Sauce, you can sub that in as well. Try pairing this with some grain free flat bread, cabbage and kefir ranch for one hit BBQ meal. This recipe was modified from Against All Grain.
This is a simple to make, mouth watering TexMex favorite. Serve with cauli rice or in a Copy Cat Chipotle bowl. If you are not a fan of spice, cut back the peppers or add a chipotle salsa instead. Adapted from Meals Made Simple by Danielle Walker.
Anyone else LOVE the burrito bowls at Chipotle? We sure do, and so we made it our mission to make a nutrient packed version that you could enjoy with any Mexican leftovers. Feel free to get creative with this meal and change the flavors up often. Feel free to add any additional protein of your choice to this flavorful bowl.
Wondering where these meatballs could possibly include Nutrient Superstars? Well, we’ve snuck eggs, celery, onions, and carrot into these bad boys. Worried about the crazy-high sodium content of the buffalo sauce? Don’t worry – we’ve got you covered there, too – with an easy homemade wing sauce recipe. Serve over zucchini noodles or quinoa for an extra boost of nutrients, or on their own as an app.
This is a fabulous meal to make on the grill and enjoy with loved ones. Full of tropical flavors, it is sure to make you feel like you are on a sandy beach! Pairs well with cauli rice or served next to a salad. We've adapted this from Emeril at Food Network. Another option if you aren't into or are allergic to mango is to create the salsa using pineapple instead, which will stay in line with the tropical inspiration of these fish tacos.
A great dish to make in advance and enjoy throughout a busy week. You can add any extra veggie you have on hand and need to use up. Great topped with fresh avocado and salsa.
We all love our ramen soup, but the packaged kind is full of sodium, preservatives and many other less than desirable ingredients. We have adapted this recipe from Baker By Nature to bring you a healthy and power packed version. Feel free to get creative with any proteins and veggies you would like to add. It tastes great with some roasted cashews or even some avocado on top.
