Need we say more than apple pie at breakfast! You must try these nutritious and delicious pancakes. Adapted from Chocolate Covered Katie.
Adapted fro a recipe of Miriam Pascal's over at Overtime Cook, we can't get enough of this apple berry crumble. Combining the tartness of blueberries, sweetness of strawberries, and crisp apples gives this crumble a filling you'll soon NOT forget. Using coconut or date sugar in the crumble adds a wonderful caramel hint!
Caramel is SOOO good...and it's almost always just high fructose corn syrup if you are having it out of the house, along with some dye to make it caramel colored. Thanks, but not thanks. We've developed a rich caramel dipping sauce using the sweetness of dates long with vanilla extract, and some added healthy fat from coconut oil, to make a dip that will not only be a crowd pleaser, but is also good for you! Sliced pears would also taste fantastic with this dip, too!
Colors galore and an array of flavors come together in this quinoa bowl which can be served as breakfast, or as a side. Perfect dish to bring to a picnic, or serve along side some grilled meat for as sweet and savory take on dinner. You can really play around with the toppings here and customized this with whatever you have on hand in the pantry too!
