You’ve heard the phrase again and again … your ‘new normal.’ It’s something we all are facing as we transition to a new phase of life through this global pandemic.
Universally, the last two months have been extremely challenging for all. In our lifetimes, we’ve never experienced something that has disrupted our lives as much. Our parents generation did through wars, our grandparents’ through the Depression, but for us, this level of change and impact is something we’ve not had to face.
As we transition to phases of things opening up, or the reality that some things are just never going to open up or go back to normal, there’s a ton of emotion tied to that.
This is affecting all of us. From those happy go lucky ones of us that usually are so upbeat, positive, and filled with motivation and inspiration to those that that already struggled in those departments, we’ve all felt waves of highs and lows. Confusion. Doubt. Fear of what’s next and what else may be taken away.
Collectively now more than ever it’s important to surround yourself with a fun and supportive community. Usually summer is your busiest time of the year spent outside and socializing. The reality is, that this summer will be very different.
