Today we are talking taking ACTION to feel good later.
It’s as simple as that. The action and choices you make throughout the day, impact and create the day you’ll have.
Want to feel good today? Take ACTION! Don’t just talk about it, DO IT!
Each day when we wake up, we are given a gift.
“Not at my house”, you may be thinking. I wake up to insanity, a million things to get done before we leave the house and people all over me, needing me to do things for them. There’s no gift there.
We’ll tell you where that gift is, it’s breath. It’s life. It’s literally waking UP. It’s movement. It’s having a body that can move freely and the will to move it.
So yes, you woke up, put one foot on the floor, then the other, you stood up and like magic – you were given another day to do something!
Every day is a gift, but we want you to do more than survive, we want you to THRIVE! And what’s the secret to THRIVING?
It comes in taking ACTION!
To feel good, you must TAKE ACTION. To move your body, to challenge it, and that comes from exercise!
You have to make the choice to do yourself and your body good.
EXERCISE will improve the quality and longevity of your life, and the best part is it is NEVER too late to start or get back at it.
No one can make that choice for you, no one can give you the ability to show up – it’s one you “get” to make each and every day.
And once you start, you feel good. And we mean, REAL GOOD.
Exercise is one of the best habits you can get yourself in to.
Your body returns the favor of movement by pumping fresh oxygen through that body of yours – clearing out any stale air, illness, stress and more. That’s where the glow comes from when you workout! From fresh blood flow, fresh oxygen and more LIFE!
Exercise is the BEST feel good prescription drug you can take, with only positive side effects.
Movement releases those addicting (in the best possible way) endorphin hormones, that chemically change your happiness receptors and award you with added energy/productivity/presence the rest of the day.
You’ve heard that expression about you have to spend money to make money?
Well energy is the same way. You have to spend energy — by exercising — to boost your body’s overall energy output and levels.
// You bust it out for a 30 minute VFit class with heart pumping Cardio Dance or Cardio Shred, and in return your body rewards you by bringing on a glow that transcends the rest of your day.
// You follow form cues and hone into your inner warrior goddess in a VFit yoga class like Zakti or Shine Yoga, and the rest of the day you’re off feeling good with laser sharp focus and confidence.
// You pump blood through those muscles with a weight strength training class like VFit’s Circuit and Full Body Blast, and all day long you are full of swag and a secret smile knowing just HARD you can push and what you can accomplish when you set your mind to it.
Each opportunity you can create for yourself to take ACTION, will bring you those feel good vibes that will multiply through the rest of your day.
Not taking action comes at an energy costs as well. In the form of regret, negative self talk, decreased energy and a loss of self respect and/or doubting yourself.
It takes energy and effort to live your best, but it also takes it when you don’t show up.
